Jennifer Harris
Jennifer Harris is an Education Liaison II on the National Center for Youth Law's Compassionate Education Systems team. Located in Pima County, Arizona, Jennifer works to improve the outcomes of students in foster care by advocating on their behalf and supporting their academic success on their path to graduate from high school.
Jennifer has over 20 years of experience serving young people and community based social services both in the United States and abroad. She served in the Peace Corps as a youth development volunteer and worked in non-government agencies focused on community education through the arts. Jennifer graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor degree in Science in Family Studies.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, and spends much of her free time at her children's soccer tournaments and swim meets. She enjoys reading, making lists, and taking long walks with her dogs.
