David Sacks is a Development Manager at the National Center for Youth Law. David leads the organization’s efforts on major donors, corporate and law firm giving, and individual donor engagement. He also connects with family foundations and other institutional funders to secure grants supporting the National Center for Youth Law's vital work and programs.

David has over 12 years of experience in fundraising and development with a focus on individual giving, donor engagement, and major gifts. He previously worked for the Environmental Law & Policy Center of the Midwest, Harris School of Public Policy, and University of Chicago Alumni Relations & Development. His career prior to non-profit work focused on database systems and data management. David has a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, and a a masters from the University of Iowa.

David grew up and and resides in the Chicagoland area. He is a passionate environmentalist, and enjoys exploring new parks and preserves throughout the Midwest. His favorite sandwich is a vegetarian reuben from the Chicago Diner.
