Ashely Dickerson is a Program Director with the Compassionate Education Systems team in Arizona. Ashely has the privilege of leading an incredible team of Education Liaisons who passionately work alongside youth experiencing foster care to help them and their teams overcome educational obstacles. Ashely also focuses on deepening relationships with community and state-level organizations in an effort to transform systems impacting the lives of youth in care.

Improving educational outcomes for all students, along with civic engagement and advocacy are at the core of her efforts. Ashely is passionate about creating an equitable and just education system in the great state of Arizona, which has led her to serve four terms of AmeriCorps service with Public Allies, City Year, VISTA, and National service. Ashely is passionate about children, youth, and their families and has over 15 years experience serving as an elementary school teacher, coach, consultant and community leader. She began her career with National Center for Youth Law in 2017 as an education liaison.

Ashely is a proud Arizonan hailing from Glendale (Maryvale), Arizona, and has a deep commitment to her community. When she's not keeping Jamba Juice in business, she enjoys spending time at Mission Beach, reading, baking and reminiscing on the best 90s songs. In her free time, she is dedicated to creating and sustaining a pipeline of elected women of color leaders to local school boards in Arizona.
