Alumni News – July-Sept 2015

Avani Mehta, former NCYL Law Clerk, earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University and joined Berkeley Law faculty in 2013. She teaches Criminal Law, Evidence, and a Colloquium on Law & Psychology.

Clare Kruger, 2013 Summer Law Clerk, is Fellow at DC Lawyers for Youth where she is doing a mix of policy work, legislative advocacy and direct representation of juveniles in DC Superior Court.

Former NCYL law clerk Jessie Brown is now Senior Counsel at the Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. She is currently involved in a task force committed to improving sexual assault prevention and response in schools.

Curt Child, former NCYL Senior Attorney, has joined CourtCall as the Director of Court and Government Affairs. CourtCall works to make remote Court Appearances simple, accessible and affordable for all parties.
