Emma McGinn is the Fiza Quraishi Youth Law Fellow on NCYL’s Immigration team. McGinn’s work focuses on litigation and policy efforts on behalf of immigrant children. She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a student-attorney with the Workers’ Rights Clinic and the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. She was also an editor on the Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review and interned with Los Angeles County Counsel’s Dependency Division and with NCYL’s Immigration team. 

Prior to law school, she worked for the State of Michigan as a Migrant Service Worker and Foreign Labor Certification Officer. As a first-generation college student, McGinn earned her B.A. from Michigan State University, where she majored in English and Spanish.
