Jessica Lynn Battle

Jessica Lynn Battle is an Attorney with the Legal Advocacy team at the National Center for Youth Law. She litigates across all of the organization's issue areas to advance the rights of children and youth nationwide.

Jessica Lynn is a proud cum laude graduate of Howard University School of Law. Before joining the National Center for Youth Law, Jessica Lynn developed systemic litigation and advocacy strategies for an affirmative civil rights and liberties agenda with the American Civil Liberties Union of Oregon. She also served as a Trial Attorney with the Juvenile Rights Practice of the Legal Aid Society of NYC where she represented children subject to child welfare petitions. Jessica Lynn received her bachelor's degree from The Johns Hopkins University and is licensed to practice law in Oregon, New York, and the District of Columbia. 

Originally from South Jersey, Jessica Lynn is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoys Motown bass lines, Ethiopian food, and thrifting.
